AI-Teach was represented at the EDEN 2026 Annual Conference in Porto, Portugal, by Marieke Decock and Mildred Kyte.
The conference, organised under the theme “Beyond Technology: Human-AI Collaboration for Learning and Teaching”, brought together educators, researchers and institutional representatives to reflect on the role of AI in learning, teaching and educational practice.
During the conference, Marieke and Mildred had the opportunity to present the AI-Teach project and share our project folder with an international audience. Their contribution helped make the project more visible within a European community that is actively exploring how AI can support education in a thoughtful, ethical and human-centred way.
For AI-Teach, moments like these are valuable. They create opportunities to exchange ideas, build connections and gather perspectives from others working on digital education, teacher education and AI-enhanced learning. They also allow us to share the aims of the project with people who are committed to shaping the future of education in a responsible and meaningful way.
A warm thank you to Marieke and Mildred for representing AI-Teach in Porto and for helping us bring the project to an international stage.
