AI-teach is an Erasmus+ Teacher Academy project that supports teachers in navigating artificial intelligence in education. It offers an international capacity-building programme to enhance AI literacy among both pre-service and in-service secondary school teachers.
Through training, research, and international collaboration, AI-teach helps educators use AI in ethical, critical, and creative ways in their teaching practice.
Our mission
Advocacy & awareness: AI-teach promotes the critical role of teachers in shaping how AI is integrated into education. It raises awareness of the ethical, societal, and pedagogical implications of AI, aligning with key European initiatives that support human-centred and responsible digital transformation.
Empowerment: the project equips pre-service and in-service teachers, as well as teacher educators, with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to engage with AI effectively. This includes understanding how AI works, using it pedagogically, and making informed, ethical decisions that support diverse learners.
Collaboration & knowledge exchange: AI-teach fosters sustainable European cooperation by facilitating the exchange of best practices, research insights, and practical tools. Through international networking, the project builds a strong community of educators leading innovation in AI-supported education.
